To get to Kelvedon Institute:

TIP - Do not go to The "Kelvedon Labour Club and Institute" by mistake, that's a different place, this is just "The Institute" and it's on the other side of the road.

Here is a map

By train - Alight at Kelvedon Station and walk towards the village (past the car dealership, Deal's). At the end of the road turn right onto the High Street and proceed up the hill for about 500 yards. The Institute is on the left hand side of the road.

By road (A12) - Get yourself on the A12 and turn off when it says 'Kelvedon'. From the north (Colchester) you'll come through Feering, then over the river into Kelvedon. The Institute will be on your left about 500 yards after you cross the River Blackwater. From the south (Chelmsford) it's straight into Kelvedon, past The Angel pub and follow the road onto Kelvedon High Street, The Institute will be on your right about 400 yards past The Angel. There is a free car park (after 6pm) accessed by turning in to the right of the Conservative Club, a few yards up the road from The Institute.

By road from the North - M11, A120. Coming south down the M11, take the A120 eastbound towards Colchester (Stansted Airport junction). Continue along the A120 around Braintree and keep following signs towards Colchester. Leave the A120 at the first exit for Coggeshall, continue into Coggeshall town centre and turn right at the first major junction (behind The Cricketers pub). Follow this rather winding road 2.5 miles all the way to Kelvedon. Kelvedon Station will appear on your right, continue on to the end of the road, turn right onto Kelvedon High Street and The Institute is 500 yards up on the left hand side. There is a free car park (after 6pm) accessed by turning in to the right of the Conservative Club, a few yards before The Institute.

On foot - If you're coming on foot then you probably know where it is anyway.

Booze and other refreshments:

There is no bar or any other refreshment facilities at The Institute, but as an Institute gig-goer you can get discount at the independently owned 'Olivers Off License', which stocks all manner of drinks including interesting bottled ales, just down the High Street.

There are toilets at the venue obviously, anything else would be plain silly.
